The official website for the beloved Ōmuro-ke sisters and dear friends Ōmuro-ke, the “medium-length” theatrical anime adaptation of Namori’s Ōmuro-ke (Ōmuro Family) side story manga for her Yuruyuri manga, revealed the film’s main visuals and trailer on Thursday. The video and photos reveal that Dear Sisters Ōmuro-ke will premiere on February 2. The trailer also previews the “My Dear SiSTARS!” theme song performed by the three sisters, performed by Chiwa Saito , voiced by Emiri Katō and Rina Hidaka.

The two anime films will be 40 minutes in length. The second film is scheduled for release in 2024.
The main cast includes Chiwa Saito as eldest sister Nadeshiko Ōmuro, Emiri Katō as middle child Sakurako Ōmuro, and youngest sister Rina Hidaka as Hanako Ōmuro. All three reprise their roles from previous Yuruyuri anime.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Nisekoi, Monogatari Series Second Season, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) is directing and storyboarding at Passione and Studio Lings. Masahiro Yokotani (Sakura Quest, Free! Eternal Summer, The Devil Is a Part-Timer!) is supervising and writing the script. Kazuyuki Ueda (Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic, Hinako Note, BanG Dream!) is designing the characters. Yūsuke Shirato (In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Lost Song) is composing the music. Lantis is credited as a music producer.

Namori launched the series on Ichijinsha’s Nico Nico Yurihime section of the Nico Nico Seiga website in February 2013 and temporarily ended it when the Nico Nico Yurihime service ended in 2016. Namori relaunched the manga on Yurihime @ pixiv website in August 2017, where it is still ongoing. Ichijinsha published the manga’s sixth compilation volume in December 2022.
Namori launched the Yuruyuri manga in 2008, and Ichijinsha published the manga’s 22nd compiled book volume in December 2022. J Manga and ALC Publishing released part of the original manga digitally in English before J Manga closed down production ceased in 2013. Naya Minadori is drawing the isekai fantasy spinoff Tensei Shitara Akari dake ga Slime Datta Ken (That Time Only Akari Got Reincarnated as a Slime, a play based on the novel That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime by Fuse).
The Yuruyuri manga series inspired three anime television seasons that were broadcast by Crunchyroll as they aired. The manga is also inspired by Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi! original video anime, received a two-episode Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi!+ television anime sequel before the third season premiered in 2015. NIS America licensed and released the first two anime seasons on home video in North America. The manga inspired the original video anime (OVA) project that celebrated its 10th anniversary in November 2019, as well as the net anime Miniyuri in September 2019.
Namori is also the character designer for Release the Spyce and ENDRO! The original television anime premiered in October 2018 and January 2019, respectively.
