Shueisha's Jump J-Books website posted information that Hirohiko Araki's spinoff manga Such Spoke Rohan Kishibe (Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai) will have a fourth short story anthology novel titled Kishibe Rohan wa Warawanai (Rohan Kishibe Does Not Laugh), scheduled for release on December 18. Writer Katsuie Shibata (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Isekai) is writing the short story collection novel, which will feature four different stories.
The third short story collection novel titled Kishibe Rohan wa Taorenai (Rohan Kishibe Does Not Fall, pictured right) by Ballad Kitaguni was published in December 2022.
The first two short story anthology novel volumes were published consecutively in June and July 2018. The first volume is titled Kishibe Rohan wa Sakebanai (Rohan Kishibe does not scream), with a story by Kitaguni, Yusuke Iba, Mirei Miyamoto and Ryō Yoshigami. The second novel collection is titled Kishibe Rohan wa Tawamurenai (Rohan Kishibe Does Not Frolic), with stories by Kitaguni, Miyamoto and Yoshigami. Araki is credited as the author of the original story in all four novels.
The 11th story of the spinoff manga “Dripping Gahō-hen” launched in Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine in April 2022, with a second part to follow in May of that year .
The video adapted by David Production was adapted by anime studio David Production. said two stories by Kishibe Rohan as original anime DVDs. The episode “Fugō Mura”(Millionaire's Village) is for those who purchased all 13 DVD or Blu-ray episodes of the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable in 2017. The episode “Mutsukabezaka”(Mutsukabe Hill) is included as a bonus. the manga's second volume in 2018. Crunchyroll screened the overseas premiere of “Fugō Mura” at the Crunchyroll Expo event in August 2019. Following this, studio david production produced two new volumes, “Zange -shitsu” (Confession Room) and “The Run,” screened at nine screenings in six cities in Japan from December 2020 to March 2021.
Netflix began streaming the anime globally in February 2021 starring Landon McDonald.
Live-action screening The first three episodes of the So Said Kishibe Rohan Three-episode series premiered in December 2020 for three consecutive nights on NHK General. The second season of three episodes also premiered in late December 2021 for three consecutive nights. Retro Crush is streaming the first three episodes. Two more episodes premiered in December 2023. The series' ninth overall episode (excluding live-action) premiered on BS Premium 4K on May 5 and on NHK General on May 10 .
A live-action film adaptation of Hirohiko Araki's manga Kishibe Rohan Louvre e Iku (Rohan at the Louvre, or literally Rohan Kishibe Goes to the Louvre; Rohan au Louvre in French) aired on Japanese television on December 27. April on BS Premium 4K and on NHK General on May 6.
The film opened in Japan in May 2023. The film sold 221,000 tickets in the first three days of release and earned 315 million yen (about 2.26 million USD). The film launches on Amazon Prime Video in Japan, France, and 160 other countries and territories around the world in September 2023.
