KADOKAWA reveals highest performing IP in the first quarter of 2024 (April to June), in which Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in the dungeon) led by a wide margin.
The company reported that the IP has generated over 2 billion yen in revenue across all media, including publishing, anime, and licensing, although exact figures were not disclosed.
Dungeon Meshi topped the charts in both the publishing and IP creation segment, as well as the anime production segment, earning more than double the IP sales of second place.
Second place is KonoSuba: God's blessing on this wonderful World!bringing in nearly 1 billion yen in revenue.
Although licensed from another company, the anime adaptation The Owl still secured third place, based solely on its anime sales.
