Anime Whisper Me a Love Song has announced that the final two episodes (episodes 11 and 12) will premiere on December 28. This is the fourth delay of the series. It was originally scheduled to premiere in January this year but was postponed to April. Then episodes 9 and 10 were delayed by two weeks and the Blu-ray release was pushed back four months.

Studios Cloud Hearts and Yokohama Animation Laboratory are animating the series under the direction of Akira Mano. Mano replaces original director Xin Ya Cai, who had to resign due to health problems. Hiroki Uchida wrote the script and Minami Yoshida designed the characters. Kana Sasakura, who voices Yori, will perform the opening theme while Hana Shimano, Himari's voice actress, will sing the ending theme song. The cast includes:

The anime television adaptation is based on the manga written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima which was originally serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime in 2019. Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga in English and they describe the first volume as after:
Himari, a bubbly, energetic first-year high school student, falls in love with her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform on the first day of school. Himari tells Yori that she only loves her, and to Himari's surprise, Yori says that she loves Himari too! But when Himari realizes that she and her senpai have two different kinds of love, she begins to wonder what “love” really means.
