The third PV trailer and new character images have been released for the upcoming Mono TV anime adaptation, focusing on Sakurako Shikishima. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2025.
The trailer confirms the casting of Hikaru Tono as Sakurako, joining a main voice cast that also includes Haruna Mikawa as Satsuki Amamiya and Aoi Koga as An Kiriyama.

Ryota Aikei (Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2 Assistant Director) is directing the anime, with Takuya Miyahara (Frederica's opening credits, Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie co-lead animator) as character designer and Yoko Yonaiyama (A Sign of Affection) is the scriptwriter for the series. Soigne is in charge of producing the animation.
The original 4-koma manga series written and illustrated by Afro, creator of Laid-Back Camp, was first published on Manga Time Kirara Miracle! by Houbunsha! magazine on May 16, 2017, before transferring to Manga Time Kirara Carat on December 28, 2017. Four tankobon volumes have been released as of April 2024.
