The fan trio unites the tallest members of the Shuchiin Academy student council in the Kaguya-sama: Love is War cosplay.
The cosplay, shared on Instagram, features the characters Miyuki Shirogane, Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara, played by Novan, Himeka and Iotachann respectively. It contains a shot of the trio in identical costumes to the anime and a few screenshots of the series. Image of Fujiwara on the left doing a silly pose, with Shirogane in the middle looking stern and awkward and Shinomiya on the far right looking sly at the camera.
The attention to detail of the cosplayers Kaguya-sama
Each member of the group wears the classic Shuchiin school uniform: a black dress with a white collar and red bow for the girls and a jet-black suit for Miyuki. Aside from the costumes, there’s also the attention to detail that captures the look of the Shonen comedy. For example, Fujiwara is depicted in an anime-like pink wig with a small black bow on top. In addition, Shinomiya wears a large red bow on the nape of her neck, with the exact same hairstyle as in the anime. Finally, Shirogane dons a yellow wig and wears the iconic gold chain around his neck – an item passed down between each council president.
While most of the student council is represented in the picture, including the president (Shirogane), vice president (Shinomiya) and secretary (Fujiwara), two notable characters do not appear in cosplay. This includes Yu Ishigami, a major supporting character in the series who acts as the team’s treasurer, and Miko Iino, who joins the team as an auditor in Season 2.
