The television anime production staff of writer Kei Sazane and illustrator Naze Boku no Sekai o Dare mo Oboeteinai no ka? (Why doesn't anyone remember my world?) novel announced on Wednesday that the series will premiere on July 13. The staff also revealed the theme song's composer and artist, as well like the fifth character video featuring Rinne:

Akiyoshi Yasuda (Real Girl) is composing music.
Unlucky Morpheus will perform the opening theme song “Sekai Rinne” (World Reincarnation). SUSU will perform the first ending theme “Togirenaide”(Don't Stop), Urbangarde will perform the second ending theme “Ai, Amnesia”(Love, Amnesia) and Elfensjón will perform the second ending theme three”UMBRA”.

Anime stars:
The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 13 at 10:30 p.m. JST before airing on BS Asahi, Kansai TV, and other channels.
The anime will be previewed on June 16 at Grand Cinema Sunshine in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fire Force TV 2, Wave, Listen to Me!) is directing the anime at project number 9. Satoru Sugizawa (Love After World Domination) is supervising the film's script and Hiromi Kato (Goblin Slayer II, A Returner's Magic Should Be Special) is adapting neco's original character designs into animation.

Kadokawa published the first volume of the novel series in July 2017, and the ninth and final volume in August 2020.
Arikan launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in February 2018. BookWalker Global is publishing the manga in English under the title Why Does No One Remember Me in This World?, and describes story description:
The war between the five races on earth – humans, “Demons”, “Wild Gods”, “Souls” and “Demons” – ended with the victory of humans.
It is said that “Prophet Sid” sealed the remaining four races in the black pyramid now known as “Code”.
Kai's job is to watch over the catacombs and make sure that nothing changes. He is also being trained to save humans when other races break the seal and return to this world.
The catacombs looked quiet today…but after Kai felt the world collapsing before his eyes…everything changed.
“World Rebirth” has been activated…!!
Now Kai is in a completely different world where no one knows him. But he still misses everyone!
Sazane's Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru (God's Game We Play or literally God is Hungry for Games) is also inspiring a television anime adaptation, premiering on April 1.
Additionally, the second season of the television anime series Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen) by Sazane and Ao Nekonabe will also premiere in July, after a delay. The first season premiered in October 2020.
To celebrate Sazane's three works being adapted into anime this year, Kadokawa and Happinet are holding a special collaboration campaign that includes social media prizes.
