Netflix has announced that an original anime series titled Tokyo Override will begin streaming on the platform later this year. The announcement was made as part of the company's Next on Netflix Animation event.
Yusuke Fukada (Perfect World, Ultimate Beastmaster) and Thai director Veerapatra Jinanavin (animated short film Midnight Story) are co-directing Tokyo Override, in collaboration with Yamaha and Honda Motor. Fukada, Sornperes Subsermsri and Kwunchanok Meesilpa are also credited as producers. Thailand-based RiFF Studio is handling the animation production for the series.

The film is described by the company as a “fast-paced motorcycle movie” about a hacker who joins a group of criminals. group of outcast bikers to uncover the city's dark secrets.
