Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio have announced that the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime will have a webtoon comic on LINE MANGA and Jump TOON on August 25, 2024. New visuals of the main characters have also been released on the anime's official website.
Wit Studio is producing the colorful webtoon, which will be the studio's first simultaneous anime adaptation webtoon.

The official website also posted two behind-the-scenes videos of the swordfight between Harley Quinn and Katana from the first and seventh episodes of the anime.

The 10-episode anime series premiered in Japan on July 5, 2024, and will conclude on September 7, 2024. The series premiered earlier in select territories with a 3-episode run on June 27, 2024, and will conclude on August 15, 2024 in select territories. It is streamed on Hulu and Max in the United States.
Eri Osada (Blade and Soul character designer and co-animation director, Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 6 director, and others) is directing the anime, with Tappei Nagatsuki (Re: Zero, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) and Eiji Umehara (Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) as screenwriters, Naoto Hosoda (Seiren character designer, The Future Diary, and Juni Taisen: Zodiac War director) as character designer, and Akira Amano (Psycho-Pass) as original character designer and concept artist. WIT Studio is handling animation production.

The anime is based on the DC Comics comic book series and franchise Suicide Squad, which follows a team of anti-heroes/supervillains tasked with completing dangerous missions.

The franchise has inspired several media adaptations, including two live-action films, an animated film, and the looter-shooter video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
