Everyone, it's time for Veltol Velvet Velsvalt to show his strength against a group of thugs as he has gained a million followers by becoming a live streamer.
As you can see, these thugs can't have any influence on the demon lord.
But speaking of Veltol, I'm worried that someone will record this and make him out to be the bad guy. Luckily, Takahashi is here to stop some opportunists thanks to her Ether hacking skills.
Anyway, those goons are finally defeated because it's time for Veltol to take that item and give it to Takahashi for analysis. But there's a problem…
It seems like a great enemy has appeared and although it is currently hidden by a cloak, I think the demon lord will have difficulty stopping this enemy.
Anyway, this large hunk of metal is actually called Magino Gear, specifically a fourth generation Magino-Gear called Ashed Dawn. This security robot will eliminate Veltol for disturbing the city.
And speaking of Veltol, he's pretty excited about fighting a tough enemy just like fighting any boss character in Dark Souls (or Bloody Spirit).
Normally, he could easily slash this robot, but Veltol Velvet Velsvalt was just recovering after being put to sleep for centuries.
Unfortunately for Veltol, this Magino-Gear severed his right arm and leg, thus he fell in battle. This is where lies the demon lord who failed to conquer the cyberpunk world!
In fact, it appears that Veltol is still alive because he just regenerated the lost limb and reattached his head as if nothing happened. I forgot that he is still an immortal.
With that said, it's time for the demon lord to launch a counterattack as Veltol summons his demon sword Vernal.
And as you can see, the pilot of this Magino-Gear was quite stunned when not only did he fail to kill the demon lord, but Veltol cut his mecha into pieces.
Anyway, it looks like the coast is clear for Veltol and Takahashi to get stuff from the yakuza thugs.
And this is an item that is just a cube. Actually, I think there might be some secret inside that thing because Takahashi will pry it open.
So upon opening the box, it was revealed to be a list of immortals as Veltol recognized most of them. Well, this plot thickens when Takahashi decides to consult her client, who lives in a luxury apartment somewhere in Tokyo.
Anyway, Veltol and Takahashi went to the luxury apartment to meet Ejyu, a weird guy who likes to collect various things.
Sadly, it seems Ejyu died when someone assassinated him. Wait a minute, I think I've seen this guy before because Ejyu was the beggar who helped Veltol back in Episode 2.
However, it's too bad that Veltol can't pay Ejyu back because he was murdered. On the other hand, we will never know why the yakuza got hold of the list of immortals in the first place.
Luckily, it seems Ejyu left something behind as Takahashi found an old laptop, although the hacker would have to decrypt the data to see her client's last message. together.
As stated, Takahashi decrypted Ejyu's laptop and explained that there is a dark secret underneath Shinjuku.
It turns out that the entire city is being powered by immortals, where someone kidnaps them and puts them in a giant furnace as fuel.
Now, Ejyu further explains that this furnace should not exist if Shinjuku had 10 ether lines to power the entire city, but it only has 2, which is why someone created a furnace to power Shinjuku at the expense of the immortals.
Come to think of it, I wonder if Marcus was involved in operating the furnace? I mean, he was planning something big in the last episode.
So it seems it's time for Veltol Velvet Velsvalt to contact Machina Soleige and explain about the furnace below Shinjuku.
But when he tried to approach one of his colleagues, Machina disappeared. I have a feeling that someone is following her and attacking Machina while Veltol is away.
With that said, tune in next time to find out! And one more thing, there will be no appearance of Towa Tokoyami when the story becomes serious.
