The official website for From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!, the television anime adaptation of Michiro Ueyama's Akuyaku Reijō Tensei Oji-san (Middle-Aged Man Reincarnated as a Villain) manga, has revealed new commercial photos, and more cast members on Thursday. The website also revealed that the series will premiere on MBS and TBS and 28 affiliated channels in the Super Animeism TURBO programming block on January 9.

HIDIVE will broadcast this film when it airs. The anime will have its North American premiere at Anime Frontier in Fort Worth, Texas on December 7.
The anime will feature:
Tetsuya Takeuchi (I couldn't become a hero so I reluctantly decided to take a job as animation director, directed by Yuri Seijin Naoko-san) is directing the anime at Ajia-do. Shingo Irie (writer for the first four seasons of Golden Kamuy, all three seasons of Log Horizon) is supervising the series' scripts, Haruka Matsunae (Ascendance of a Bookworm) is designing the characters, and Yuki Miyamoto (lead animation for Ascendance of a Bookworm) is in charge of character design. Monster designer. Composers include: Natumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe and Kaho Sawada.
The manga revolves around Kenzaburō Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old civil servant who gets into a traffic accident one day. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself reincarnated into an academy of a fantasy world, now reincarnated as the haughty Grace Auvergne, the daughter of a duke.
Ueyama (Zoids, Tsumanuda Fight Town) launched the manga in Shonengahosha's Monthly Youngking magazine Our GH Magazine in March 2020.
