As part of a partnership between AMC Networks' HIDIVE and Iconic Events, upcoming screenings of Ninja Scroll will bring the 30-year-old anime series back to theaters on September 11, 12, and 15, 2024. The event will take place in more than 600 locations, with the event now expanding beyond the United States and into Canada. It's all part of Iconic Events Releasing's 2024-2025 AX Cinema Nights season, which will bring new and retro anime to audiences in the West. Fans who see Ninja Scroll in the new screenings will be able to watch a never-before-seen pre-screening interview with director Yoshiaki Kawajiri.
Tickets for the 30th anniversary event can be purchased in advance via the official Iconic Events Releasing website, where fans can see where the film will be showing near them. Ninja Scroll is an intense, action-packed film that epitomizes the anime and OVA films of the early 1990s. Focusing on a swordsman named Jubei and his battles against an army of demonic ninjas, the film's animation is still more than stellar and will definitely be a joy to watch again on the big screen.
