While the second season of the anime is airing, the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo – SPY x FAMILY continues to become more popular. Recently, the author paused progress mid-plot to offer a short chapter titled “Short Quest 11”.
Normally, these types of chapters usually tell short stories unrelated to the main plot and involve supporting characters from the series. However, the new short chapter will be a story with the participation of little girl Anya Forger. In the short chapter, Anya asks Loid to put a sign with her name on the door of her room, but she writes it “ANIA”.
Loid notices that the girl’s name was spelled wrong, so the sign is changed to “ANYA”, and the chapter ends with the girl thinking about her own name.
But that’s not all, author Tatsuya Endo has included a promotional image introducing the manga starring Anya Forger herself. The girl is holding a stuffed animal in her hand, the place she stands seems to be the door of the orphanage where Loid found Anya.
It was definitely a surprise for SPY x FAMILY fans, especially since it seemed like this chapter would aim to introduce a new storyline involving Anya Forger. So what’s going to happen to manga? Fans started debating about it and gave a lot of their own opinions.

In Spy X Family, Anya is a 6-year-old girl with extremely strong telepathic abilities, reading the thoughts of other people and even animals. The strange thing is that Anya never revealed her ability, even intentionally hiding it. The manga also suggests that Anya was subjected to harsh scientific experiments that may have given her telepathic abilities.
Spy No matter how Anya’s ability was created, it is possible that the original purpose of those behind it is still a special “weapon” to fight the enemy in this war.
