Netflix has announced that the second season of Baki Hanma season two is now streaming on its platform as of August 24, 2023. The second season was revealed to be part of “The Father VS Son Saga” , along with a new image that is also being released, highlighting Baki and his father in battle.
The second season of Baki Hanma is the sequel to Baki 2018 and Baki Hanma 2021. The first season of the anime, “The Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga,” premiered on July 26, 2023.

The series’ main production team consists of Toshiki Hirano as the director, Tatsuhiko Urahata as the series’ scriptwriter, and Shingo Ishikawa as the character designer. TMS Entertainment is responsible for the animation production for the anime.
Meanwhile, the voice cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Baki Hanma, Akio Ootsuka as Yujiro Hanma, Houchuu Ootsuka as Biscuit Oliva, Kenji Nojima as Jun Guevara, and Mami Koyama as Maria.
The anime is based on the manga series by Keisuke Itagaki, which has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion magazine since October 1991. There are currently six main Baki manga series and various spin-offs. The first major work is Baki the Grappler in 1999, while the latest is Bakidou in circulation, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion on March 8, 2019.
The manga also inspired two OVAs in 1994 and 2016. It also received its first 48-episode anime adaptation from January 8, 2001 to December 24, 2001.
