New images were revealed ahead of the film's release on Saturday
The official anime website for Uoto's Chi-Chikyū no Undō ni Tsuite-(Orb: On the Movements of the Earth) manga revealed on Saturday that the anime will have a total of 25 episodes and will air over two consecutive seasons. (a quarter of a year) in half a year. The site has also revealed a new image.

The anime will premiere on NHK General on October 5 with the first two episodes. Episodes will be streamed on Netlix and ABEMA after each episode airs. Netflix streams are listed as worldwide.
Anime stars:
Kenichi Shimizu (Parasyte-the maxim-, All Out!!) is directing the anime at Madhouse. Shingo Irie (Hakata Mentai! Pirikarako-chan, AFTERLOST) is in charge of writing the script. Masanori Shino (Black Lagoon, Digimon Adventure tri., No Guns Life) designed the characters. Kensuke ushio (Liz and the Blue Bird, A Silent Voice, The Heike Story) is composing the music. Kisuke Koizumi is the sound director.
sakanaction performed the opening theme song “Kaijū” (Monster), and yorushika performed the ending theme song “Aporia”.
Seven Seas will release the manga film in episodic form under the title Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, and describes the story:
In the 15th century, claiming that the Earth revolved around the sun was a heresy that could get believers burned at the stake. Prodigy Rafal was introduced to the truth about the universe by his teacher and then had to flee when the Inquisition came to find “God's justice.” With only a special pendant to guide the way, will Rafal discover his master's research, and can he and his other followers light up the world?
Uoto launched the manga on Big Comic Spirits in September 2020 and ended it in April 2022. Shogakukan published the eighth and final compiled volume in June 2022.
The manga won the Grand Prize for the 26th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards in April 2022. Uoto is the youngest person to ever win the Grand Prize at just 24 years old.
