It's the final episode where Takuma Kosugi introduces his robot son Mamoru-kun to his parents. Sure it looks like a typical Mimamorius 3 robot, but Mamoru-kun inherited both Takuma and Mina's quirks.
This includes a strange laugh that Takuma used to have as a child. That's right, Takuma's parents were really surprised by Mamoru-kun's quirky personalities.
Sadly, Mrs. Emi Kosugi did not consider Mina-san to be Takuma's wife, so she asked her son to transfer ownership. But here's the problem…
Mina refuses to change ownership because she cannot react immediately in unexpected situations such as Takuma having an accident.
Of course, the truth is that Mina loves Takuma-sama and she won't leave his side. If something happened to him, Mina might be sad.
And speaking of Takuma, it seems like he agrees with Mina's reasons, although I think there should be a compromise until Emi-san gradually sees Mina as a wife and not some object.
As mentioned, Takuma appointed her mother as the sub-owner. Therefore, if something happens to Takuma like having a fatal accident, Mina's memories will not be encrypted.
Oh, and if there was an argument between him and Mina, she could find refuge for Emi-san if necessary. So while his mother is starting to get used to her son's married life with a robot, what about Takuma's father?
Surprisingly, Daisuke Kosugi supported Takuma as he felt a sigh of relief that his son did not live in the big city alone. It was truly reassuring that there were some people like Takuma's father who supported his marriage to Mina.
And one more thing, this is Akari Kosugi, Takuma's younger sister who is surprised but also happy that her brother and Mina have a cute robot baby. I wonder if Mamoru-kun's body can be modified into a humanoid robot?
With that said, it seems like Takuma, Mina, and Mamoru-kun had a good time at the Kosugi mansion as they headed back to the city where they will soon move to a bigger house.
Oh by the way, it seems Emi Kosugi ordered his own Mimamorius 3 robot in the hope that it will resemble Mamoru-kun.
But the reality is that Mamoru is quite different from the other Mimamorius 3 robots, so Emi just got the factory one instead. There is no way to recreate Mamoru-kun thanks to Mina pouring a bit of his soul into a small robot.
Cut to the next scene where Takuma Kosugi, Mina and Mamoru-kun have finally moved to a bigger place. Compared to the previous apartment, this new house is a little larger and can accommodate 3 or more people.
Speaking of Takuma, he decided to create a maze for Mamoru because he wanted his son to try his luck to escape it.
Thinking back, I think Mamoru-kun was having trouble escaping back to the maze where the robot crashed into various boxes and sometimes climbed over them. But hey, at least they get a bigger place!
And that was the end of Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga nai as the Kosugi family shared photos of their new home with friends and family. What a happy ending for a show in which an ordinary salaryman marries a cleaning robot.
Oh, and everyone is happy to see Takuma and Mina happy together, despite the fact that Mina is incapable of showing emotions because Mina is the prototype of the entire Mina robot line. Although the audio-visual presentation was quite good, I think I was really satisfied watching this show because of the story where the interactions between Takuma and Mina were quite precious.
And speaking of Mina, I can't believe that her previous owner was not a moron but the creator of the Mina series of cleaning robots, where he envisioned coexistence between humans and Robots have the ability to express human-like emotions. Even though Tomikazu Otani is gone, his spirit lives on with Takuma Kosugi, where he carries on his legacy by treating Mina as a precious spouse.
But that's my final thought on this show and while most people are so inclined to simply see a man marry a robot, I hope that the majority will accept them as they are. a married couple… if there is a sequel, of course.
