During Sony’s State of Play livestream on Thursday, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced an exciting expansion for their role-playing game, Tales of Arise, titled “Beyond the Dawn.” This expansion is scheduled to launch on November 9, available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Players can look forward to over 20 hours of new content, including new quests, dungeons, and formidable boss encounters.

The story of this expansion opens one year after the events of the original game. The plot revolves around Alphen and The Six, who find themselves in a precarious position, vacillating between being hailed as Heroes of Dahna’s Liberation and despised by the Renans as Destroyers of Rights.

Their path crosses a young girl named Nazamil, the offspring of Lord Renan and Dhanan. The expansion delves into the quest to change the fate of this girl, who is destined to become a victim of the mask’s curse. Players will traverse a familiar yet evolving world with a tight-knit group, encountering new challenges along the way.
Beyond the Dawn will offer an immersive gaming experience with both English and Japanese voice acting options. Furthermore, players can enjoy text localization in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Neutral Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese , Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean.

Tales of Arise, originally released in September 2021 for Western and Japanese markets on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, has attracted attention significantly. The game faced short delays after its initial launch date in 2020, due to the ambitious nature of the project.
Notably, Yusuke Tomizawa, known for his work on God Eater, took on the role of leading the franchise’s development team, starting with Tales of Arise. Venerable studio ufotable is responsible for creating the game’s captivating animations, while seasoned Tales of Team artist Minoru Iwamoto serves as art director for the first time in the series.
