An anime adaptation of the Korean webtoon Latna Saga: The Survival Sword King has been announced and is expected to begin production this year.
Animation Latna Saga: The Survival Sword King owes its existence to the newly announced partnership between Pierrot of Japan and Red Dog Culture House of Korea. Red Dog Culture House has produced animations such as Dragon Age: Absolution and League of Legends: Star Guardian, and also founded the label Studio KHUT to which Latna Saga belongs.

Pierrot revealed that the two companies signed a business agreement regarding production and investment cooperation in August in an effort to target the global market. The collaboration will take place over the next three years and will involve a production committee established in Japan. Adaptations of popular manga series in Japan or original Korean webtoons are being considered for future projects.
Latna Saga launched on Kaokao Site in 2019. Kyungbae Lim credited as the author of the original story while Studio K-hit and Kwon Soon-q recognized as an artist. TAPAS describes the premise as follows:
After recently being discharged from the army and drifting through life, Hanbin Ryu is suddenly transported to another world. However, his “guideline,” the system given to him to help him survive and thrive, was filled with errors, leaving him stuck in the guideline stage for more than 20 years. When he was finally freed from this personal hell, he found everyone turning their backs on otherworldly people like him. How can this low-level, highly instructive beginner survive?
