Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's Oshi no Ko may be coming to an end, but the manga's two main female characters will be seeing the next part of the story. Through their official X, Jump J Book's editorial department announced an upcoming light novel that will center around Akane Kurosawa and Kana Arima. The new publication, OSHI NO KO ~Futari no Etude~ will be released on December 18.

Hajime Tanaka, who previously collaborated as the author of the Ai-centric novel Hoshino Oshi no Ko: Ichibanboshi no Spica, will write the upcoming OSHI NO KO ~Futari no Etude~ under the supervision of Aka Akasaka. More details about the release will be revealed at a later date. An interesting detail is that the release of the upcoming novel coincides with the release of the final volume of the Oshi no Ko manga.
One of the most beloved revenge stories of the past decade, Oshi no Ko boasts three story arcs spanning TV anime, spin-off novels, and live-action. The manga will end with the 16th volume. Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump published the work on April 23, 2020. Doga Kobo animated the anime adaptation.

What is Oshi no Ko About?
Oshi no Ko follows Gorou Amamiya, a gynecologist/obstetrician obsessed with his idol Ai Hoshino. To his disbelief, he becomes her treating doctor when the young star comes to his remote hospital to hide her pregnancy. Dr. Amamiya promises to stand by Ai throughout the ordeal and he befriends her. However, that friendship led to his death when one of her crazy fans killed him. Despite his death, he remained connected to Ai, as he was reincarnated as her son, Aquamarine.
For several years, it was a peaceful life for the Hoshino family, but one day, that peace was taken away from them because Ai was murdered. Vowing to avenge the object of her affection, Aqua sets out to find her father under the assumption that he had something to do with Ai's death. HIDIVE is now streaming Oshi no Ko.
