Aniplex Online Fest 2023 taking place on September 10, 2023 has revealed new key visuals for the anime’s upcoming fourth season Black Butleralong with a trailer introducing the characters.

The new season of the anime is titled Black Butler: Public School Arc (Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen ).

Aniplex describes the plot of the series as:
Butler Sebastian Michaelis works with his 13-year-old master, Count Ciel Phantomhive, to do the dirty work of being “the Queen’s watch dog” in the gritty underworld of 19th-century England.
One day, Ciel receives a letter from Queen Victoria telling him that several students at Weston College, one of England’s top public schools, seem to have disappeared… including a relative. Her name is Derrick. And so Sebastian and Ciel infiltrated Weston College to get to the bottom of the matter. What really happened to these students?
Black Butler: Public School Arc will release in 2024.
Daisuke Ono and Maaya Sakamoto will reprise their roles as the voices of Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive respectively.

Black Butler is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yana Toboso. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s manga magazine Shounen G Fantasy monthly since September 2006.
A 24-episode anime television series adaptation, produced by A-1 Pictures, aired from October 2008 to March 2009. The second 12-episode series aired from July to September 2010 ; This season features the butler, Claude Faustus, and his master, Alois Trancy, as well as Sebastian and Ciel and has an original anime plot with no manga content.
The third season, titled Black Butler: Book of Circuswhich aired from July to September 2014.
A two-part theatrical original video animation (OVA), titled Black Butler: Book of Murderscreened in Japanese theaters in October and November 2014. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in January 2014. An animated film titled Black Butler: Book of the Atlanticpremiered in Japan in January 2017.
