Yama Wayama's Let's Go Karaoke!,'Captivated, by You' anime reveals cast, to premiere in 2025

The production team for the television anime Captivated, by You (Muchū sa, Kimi ni.) by Yama Wayama and Let's Go Karaoke! (Karaoke Iko!) Manga has revealed the main cast of Let's Go Karaoke! and the anime will premiere in 2025 on Friday.

The original anime announcement stated that both works will be adapted into television anime “at the same time.”

Asami Nakatani (Yohane the Parhelion-SUNSHINE in the MIRROR) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo and Yukiko Tsukahara (coordinating producer of The Imaginary) is the assistant director. Yoshimi Narita (Twilight Out of Focus, Dance Dance Danseur) is the script supervisor, Mai Matsuura (KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm, The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians) is the character designer, and Takurō Iga (Trillion Game , Oshi no Ko) composed the music.

Yen Press has licensed both Captivated, by You and Let's Go Karaoke! for release in English.

Wayama is released Let's Go Karaoke! manga as a dōjin publication in 2019 and Kadokawa published it as a single volume in September 2020. The manga came in third place in the 14th Manga Taisho awards in 2021. The manga is inspired by a series The live-action film opens in January after a delay from 2023.
