The X (formerly Twitter) account of the Jump j Books editorial board teased the upcoming release of OSHI NO KO ~Futari no Etude~, a new OSHI NO KO light novel that will reveal more about the girls. heroes Kana Arima and Akane Kurosawa.
OSHI NO KO ~Futari no Etude~ will be released on December 18 JST, meaning it will coincide with the release date of the manga's 16th and final volume. The book is written by Hajime Tanakawho also wrote OSHI NO KO ~Ichibanboshi no Spica~ focusing on Ai Hoshino last year.
Just like ~Ichibanboshi no Spica~, author OSHI NO KO Aka Akasaka will oversee the new story.
More details about the novel will be revealed later. The cover design is still unknown.
The original OSHI NO KO manga series, drawn by Mengo Yokoyari, began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in 2020 and will end on November 14 JST. It inspired an anime television series produced by Doga Kobo production (with a third season forthcoming), a live-action television series and film as well as a novelization.
