Yuto Suzuki's manga Sakamoto Days is about to be adapted into an anime.
Action movie title by TMS Entertainment production and is scheduled to premiere in January 2025. Tomokazu Sugita will voice former assassin Sakamoto. The staff includes:

The Sakamoto Days manga series began in 2020 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of April 2024. It is serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Jump and published under the Jump Comics label.
Viz Media describes the manga as:
Time has passed peacefully for Sakamoto since he left the underworld. He was running a neighborhood store with his adorable wife and child and was a bit… out of shape. But one day, a figure from his past visits him with an offer he can't refuse: return to the world of assassins or die!
