On the first day of Tet, an animated film inspired by classic anecdotes that everyone “knows by heart” will hit theaters, promising to be a “shot” for the upcoming explosive year.
Noah’s Ark
True to its title, “Noah’s Ark” is inspired by the story of Noah’s Ark carrying all creatures across the Great Flood in the Bible, but has certain different elements. The key characters in this animated project are not Noah, but the two mice Vini & Tom. Not originally on the ship’s list, Vini & Tom crossed thousands of storms to be present, only to realize that the “miniature society” on the ship was being dominated by predators and tyrants. Vini and Tom decided to use music, their greatest weapon, to help the animals overcome 40 days floating at sea. The film will be released in Vietnamese theaters nationwide on the first day of Tet (February 10, 2024).
Kungfu Panda 4
After 6 years since the most recent film, the famous animation brand “Kungfu Panda” officially returns to the big screen with the 4th film. This reappearance of the “big but martial” panda Po will extremely difficult, when he encounters the villain Chameleon who possesses the mysterious ability to summon Po’s old villains. Therefore, Po must overcome an “association of bad guys” to find a new successor for his role as the Divine Dragon Hero. A cast of A-list stars from new to old including Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, James Hong… will participate in the voice acting. “Kungfu Panda 4” is expected to be released to audiences on March 8, 2024.
Despicable Me 4
The world of “billion dollar” movie “Despicable Me” will return to global audiences with part 4 this summer movie season. Until now, the content of “Despicable Me 4” has been kept secret, but cast members including Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig will both return and voice Gru and Lucy Wilde, respectively. In addition, of course, the movie cannot lack the “banana-loving” Minions army to create the brand, which will definitely make viewers around the world “laugh to tears” when the movie hits theaters on July 3, 2024.
Transformers One
“Transformers” – a fantasy film franchise that is extremely famous around the world with its animated series and film adaptations, and now, this brand will have its first animated version shown on the big screen. “Transformers One” takes audiences back to the ancient origins of the planet Cybertron, and delves into Optimus Prime’s relationship with his later archenemy – Megatron. The film marks the reunion of two MCU superstars, Chris Hemsworth (voice of Optimus Prime) and Scarlett Johansson (voice of Elia – the female leader of the Autobot resistance band). In addition, Brian Tyree Henry will be behind the villain Megatron, while Bumblebee is confirmed to be portrayed by Keegan-Michael Key. The film will be released on September 12, 2024.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
After two hugely successful films, “Sonic the Hedgehog” “surged ahead” with part 3 scheduled to be released on December 20, 2024. The film takes the milestone right after part 2, and will bring back the newly formed “trio” including Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. However, in this return, “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” will introduce a new character – Shadow the Hedgehog, promising to bring more dramatic chases.
