This year's 19th issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine revealed on Monday that the magazine will have a new supplement called Young Magazine Kakehiki (meaning “bargain”) that will launch with the sequel to It. first issue on April 22, along with the 21st issue of the main magazine. The supplement will launch with some work from both guests and creators from Young Magazine.

Nobuyuki Fukumoto will launch the Espoir Mae Kaiji (Kaiji Before the Espoir) manga, focusing on the story of gambler Kaiji before he boards the ship Espoir, which begins the main story of the Kaiji manga.
Other works include Senka no Étoile by Tsukasa Monma and Hiranko Konohana, Self-Portrait by Zuino and Zashima, Duelist-tachi by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Kenshi Fujimoto, Koroshi to Uso no Marry by Homura Kawamoto and Nadainishi and King's Road by Yūji Terajima.
The first issue will also publish three manga series from three new or developing groups of authors. Readers will vote on which manga will be serialized. The three manga include Curry to Neko and Rebirth Tōyoko Kingdom by Gubi, Mushoku Kakutō-NEET Combat-by Shinya Wakō, and Gyakusatsu Stadium by Ryūhaku Nagata
