Ya Boy Kongming announced a compilation film for the anime series. The film is scheduled to open on March 1, 2024 in Japan. It will include all 12 episodes of the anime and is titled Ya Boy Kongming! Road to Summer Sonia. The teaser trailer for the movie Ya Boy Kongming was also released.

Ya Boy Kongming movie trailer
The TV series Ya Boy Kongming aired in April 2023. The film was directed by Shu Honma and composed by Genki Hikota. The opening theme song titled “Chiki Chiki Bam Bam” was performed by Special Unit QUEENDOM, while 96Neko performed the ending theme song, “Kibun Jojo”. The series is animated by Studio PA Activity and is available to stream on HiDIVE.
Original manga series by Yuto Yotsuba and Ryo Ogawa. Kodansha is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming struggled all his life, facing countless battles that made him a talented strategist. So, on his deathbed, he only wished to be reincarnated into a peaceful world… and be transported straight to the modern-day party center, Tokyo!
