Several X (formerly Twitter) accounts related to SAO announced Kirito's achievements on Thursday. The earliest posts were made just before 3 p.m. Japanese time of SAO and SAO Game X/Twitter accounts. Both accounts announced the main game had been removed at 2:55 p.m. Japan time.

YouTube channel Dengeki Bunko later posted a summary video about SAO. The video features the super deformed heads of SAO characters Asuna and Kirito with text-to-speech voices.

Along with the videos, the Dengeki Bunko X/Twitter account announced an additional edition of the newspaper was distributed at Animate Ikebukuro. The post notes that distribution has ended, but they may later re-distribute the paper in other bookstores.
