Demon Slayer is one of the most popular anime series of all time and expectations about Demon Slayer Season 4 is increasing every day.
With three seasons already under its belt, fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment of the series. So far, we’ve seen humble coal seller Tanjiro Kamado become a full-fledged demon assassin to avenge his murdered family and find a cure for his half-human, half-demon sister. My Nezuko.
The last three seasons have been a thrilling ride, solidifying Demon Slayer’s status as a global phenomenon, and the story isn’t over yet. A recent post on Twitter has sparked a wave of fan speculation. So let’s take a look.
Demon Slayer will soon announce a major update
On November 27, the anime’s official Twitter confirmed the release of the next promotional reel in less than two weeks.
In the post, Ufotable shares that “The 2025 promo reel will be released simultaneously worldwide at 21:00 JST on Sunday, December 10.”
This alone would be interesting. However, that’s just the beginning. The post also said, “In addition to YouTube and worldwide streaming services, a cable TV show has been ordered for Fuji TV.”
Ufotable has not yet revealed the exact content of the film. However, it is very likely that it will include the upcoming fourth season. The next season will adapt the Hashira Training arc of the manga, which takes place after the Blacksmith Village arc, so fans are hoping that the upcoming film will provide a glimpse.

What is Demon Slayer Season 4 about?
If you haven’t caught up with the manga yet, here’s a quick recap to prepare you for the December 10 announcement.
First announced in June 2023 with an official trailer, Season 4 will adapt the Hashira Training arc of the manga – chapters 128 to 136 of the original manga. The Hashira are the strongest and most skilled warriors in the Demon Slayer Corps, so we’ll see Tanjiro develop his fighting skills to defend humanity against some of the most dangerous demons of all time.
This season will see Tanjiro visit Himejima, a powerful Demon Hunter known as Stone Hashira, undergo rigorous training for future battles, as well as learn breathing techniques different to improve your fighting ability.
