For a long time, there has been speculation among One Piece fans that Luffy and his crew will need another member. A new update to the latest chapter of the One Piece manga has revealed that Lilith may be the only Vegapunk satellite left alive and on the Straw Hats' side, with York helping the Five Elders. Atlas' plan worked, confirming that Lilith could be the 11th member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Before the Egghead Island arc, fans believed that Yamato would be the one to join the crew, as she wanted to travel around the One Piece world and explore it like Oden. She would be a great addition, as she is extremely powerful and is Kaido's daughter.
Before the Wano arc, there were also many who believed that Carrot would be the one to join the crew, as she even traveled with them for a while. Additionally, she is one of the strongest members of the Mink tribe, which would make her an important member of the Straw Hats.
One Piece fans confused by Eiichiro Oda's decision
Lilith joining the Straw Hats could be a good thing, not only because she is one of Vegapunk's satellites, but also because she could be a huge help in the next arc of One Piece. Vegapunk is one of the few characters who has visited Elbaf and has a pretty good understanding of the place. This could help the Straw Hats get a handle on the situation before they get there.
Although this decision has not been confirmed by Eiichiro Oda himself, many One Piece fans have expressed their opinions about Lilith being a member of the Straw Hat crew.
While some fans supported the decision, others were sad that they wouldn't get to see Carrot and Yamato join the crew.
