The Spring 2024 Anime Awards have concluded and the Most Beautiful Girl category went to one of the most popular female characters of all time, Kurumi Tokisaki from Date a Live V. Kurumi took 7.48% of the votes, ahead of Sylphiette and Roxy from Mushoku Tensei Season 2. A total of 18,721 people voted for this category, and you can also see all the other results.

Kurumi's popularity has been unmatched for years. She also won the title of Best Girl of Spring 2022, ahead of other big names like Yor Forger and Kaguya Shinomiya. She also won the title for the entire year, with Marin Kitagawa coming in second.
Date a Live V also won awards for both opening and ending theme songs, best couple, best male character, as well as the seiyuu award.
GEEKTOYS is back in animation for its fifth season, after previously working on the fourth season of the popular anime series based on Koshi Tachibana's Date a Live light novel series. Fujimi Shobo published the series with illustrations by Tsunako from 2012 to 2020, and a total of 22 volumes are currently released.
Yen Press is publishing the Date a Live light novel series in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. They describe the story:
Ordinary high school student Shido discovers a mysterious girl at the epicenter of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his older sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical beings responsible for causing spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the spirits and end their threat to humanity. There's just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
