A new PV trailer and key visual have been released for the upcoming second season of Tonbo!. Season two will begin airing in Japan on October 5, 2024.

The new 33-second trailer was posted on the It's Anime YouTube channel with English subtitles. It features an older version of the main character, Tonbo, participating in some upcoming golf matches.

Most of the anime's main staff will return for the second season. Jin-Koo Oh (Beyblade Burst QuadDrive) directed the first season of the anime, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend) serving as series writer, Akira Takeuchi (Bastard!!-Heavy Metal, co-animation director on Dark Fantasy) as character designer, Keita Hattori (Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z mecha designer) as 3D director, and Nobuko Toda (RWBY: Ice Queendom co-creator) as composer. OLM is handling animation production.
New cast members joining the second season include Yui Ishikawa as Hinoki Otoha, Marina Inoue as Emi Kurisu, Eiji Hanawa as Hajime Udo, and Sanae Kobayashi as Shima-san.
They join the main voice cast led by:

The original manga series was written by Ken Kawasaki and illustrated by Yu Furusawa. It first debuted in Golf Digest's Weekly Golf Digest on August 4, 2014, with a total of 52 tankobon volumes released as of September 2024.
Tonbo! is licensed for international streaming by Remow. They are streaming select episodes on their It's Anime YouTube Channel for a limited time. It is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video with an English dub from April 2024 to June 2024, when it aired in Japan.
