The origins of this franchise go back to an original concept book launched at the esteemed Comic Market (Comiket) and COMITIA events. At its core, the story revolves around the story’s intriguing premise of an economically legitimate robot hero.
The creative team behind this unique project boasts a remarkable lineup, including Nakao, famous manga author Esaku Kubonouchi, famous science fiction author Yūya Takashima, and talented illustrator Junji Okubo.
Notably, this project also boasts an upcoming television anime scheduled to premiere on October 4. Within the anime’s narrative tapestry, audiences will follow the journey of an engineer newcomer named Tetsurō Okino, the mastermind behind the innovative robot, Bullbuster.
Transferred to Hato Industries, a company specializing in the extermination of troublesome creatures, Okino finds herself and the company president, Kōji Tajima, locked in a relentless war against a mysterious life form known as “ Kyojū.” Operating as a modest business that often struggled with financial constraints, Hato Industries had to meticulously calculate every cost, including fuel and labor costs for their pilots.
In this high-stakes environment, accuracy is paramount, with no room for missed shots. The company is at a crossroads between its noble mission to eliminate Kyojū and the harsh realities of economic existence.
