According to the announcement of the official X page (Twitter) for AT-X channel, the channel will broadcast the series, the light novel Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai is being adapted into an anime. No details about the anime’s cast and staff have been revealed at the time of this writing.
Light novel Zombie no Afureta Sekai – Volume 1The light novel series Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai, translated to I Am the Only One Not Attacked in a World Full of Zombies, is written by Rokuro Uraji and illustrated by Saburo. It was first published in Shosetsuka ni Naro’s Nocturne Novels men’s section in January 2013. Frontier Works acquired the title and has been publishing it since February 2016 under the imprint Their Nox Novels. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Chihiro Masuda has been serialized online through Frontier Works’ Comic Ragchew website since June 2021.
Manga Zombie no Afureta Sekai – Volume 1The film is about Yuusuke, an office worker who does not like interacting with people and prefers to work alone and in silence. When the company he worked for suddenly went bankrupt, he lost his job, and with that, all his motivation disappeared, and he became a completely withdrawn person. One day, when he decided to leave his apartment after a week of binge playing video games, a mysterious man attacked and bit him on the arm. Although Yuusuke managed to escape back to his room, he still had a fever and was bedridden for several days. When he finally gets better, he realizes that the world around him has changed as zombies appear around him. But then he realized something: “Why am I the only one the zombies don’t attack?” The story progresses with Yuusuke taking advantage of this new situation.
