Demon Lord 2099 Episode 3, titled ' [Debut Stream] The Demon Lord Veltol Has Arisen! ', opens with Takahashi explaining the benefits of live streaming to Veltol, arguing that this could greatly expand his influence. Although Machina found this idea unsuitable for a Demon Lord, Veltol agreed.
Takahashi walked him through the basics of livestreaming, suggesting he play challenging games to attract viewers; however, Veltol's limited gaming skills quickly became apparent. Takahashi skillfully marketed his charm and unskilled play, leading to a surge in popularity and a million followers within days.
One evening, while walking, Veltol meets Gram, a former hero, who shares his past sorrows in Demon Lord 2099 Episode 3, including the loss of his family due to Veltol's allies. Presently, they exchange thoughts about their changing world.
Veltol later intervened in a confrontation involving Takahashi, using her newly regained powers to send her attacker flying. Later, he discovered that this person was her former bodyguard. Takahashi then recruits Veltol as her new bodyguard, and they infiltrate a protected warehouse, where Veltol overpowers several guards.
