Good Smile Company has announced Edward Elric’s Fullmetal Alchemist Nendoroid Doll. It’s in early development so only announcement images appear along with official character images.
This is the official announcement. It just shows off Ed’s standard art. He wears his usual uniform and red jacket. This suggests that when the Nendoroid Doll is released, we will also see it in its full three-piece outfit.
It was announced at the same time as the new Cardcaptor Sakura Nendoroid Doll.
There are already many standard Nendoroids of the characters in the series. For example, in addition to the Elric brothers, there are also Nendoroids of Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye and Envy. Each of these characters is based on their canonical appearances from the anime and manga.
There are also a series of more expensive figures of characters from the series. For example, a recent issue paired both Elric brothers together. One from Proof costs nearly $300, while a Masterline one costs nearly $2,000.
There is no release date yet for Edward Elric’s Fullmetal Alchemist Nendoroid Doll. Viz Media handles physical copies of manga outside of Japan. People can watch anime like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Crunchyroll. There are also stage plays and a live-action Netflix adaptation.
