The fourth new daily character image has been released for the upcoming The Shiunji Family Children television anime series, highlighting main character Arata Shiunji. The series is scheduled to air in 2025.

Ryoki Kamitsubo (main director Hidamari Sketch, director Softenni, Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence, artist and script director for episodes 3 and 7) is directing the anime, with Noboru Kimura (Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture) as series writer and Miki Muto (OSHI NO KO Season 2 co-animator training director) is the character designer and main animation director. Akki, Ginnojo Hoshi and Shota Horie are composing the series' music, while Doga Kobo is in charge of the animation.

The anime adaptation is based on Rent-Reiji Miyajima's romantic comedy manga of the same name by A-Girlfriend, with Reiji Yukino credited as co-artist. The series was first serialized in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine on February 25, 2022, and has released five tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
