Chi No Wadachi and Aku No Hana Author Shuzo Oshimi is about to launch a completely new manga series.
Title The Sound of Blinking (Mabataki No Oto), the manga will premiere in Big Comic Superior magazine on December 13, 2024, in the January 2025 issue.
Oshimi recently released a new short manga series, Series Zaiaku Yomikiri!? (Sinful One-Shot series!?), in Big Comic Original magazine. The first story in this one-volume series titled “Hiromi (First Part)” was published on November 5, 2024.
Oshimi debuted with Superfly in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine. He would go on to start his first series Avant-Garde Yumeko in the magazine.
His works have been adapted into various media, with Drifting Net Café and Inside Mari into a TV series, The Flowers of Evil into an anime and Sweet Poolside into a live action film.
In 2001, he won the Tetsuya Chiba Prize.
