Make A Girl, the animation creator’s first theatrical anime Gensho Yasuda, has received the first teaser video and teaser images in “light” and “dark” variants. The main cast has also been revealed.
Atsumi Tanezaki will play Number 0, an android created by a boy named Akira to be his girlfriend. Akira is voiced by Shun Horie.

Make A Girl is based on Yasuda’s 2020 short film Make Love, created with Blender. Make A Girl had a crowdfunding campaign that lasted from August 2022 to October 2022 and raised 23,730,805 yen (~160,429.45 USD), exceeding its goal of 10 million yen. Another crowdfunding campaign was launched at the end of 2023 aimed at improving quality and perfection; This took place from September to October 2023 and raised 23,176,413 yen. Campfire later reported that the anime was scheduled for release in Fall 2024.
In addition to being director and creator, Yasuda is also the scriptwriter, storyboard artist, and CD director for Make A Girl.
