Set 183 years before the events chronicled in the original trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim tells the fate of House Helm Hammerhand, the legendary kings of Rohan. A surprise attack by Wulf, a clever and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking revenge for his father's death, forces Helm and his people to make a last stand in the ancient stronghold of Hornburg— a mighty fortress that would later be known as Helm's Deep.
