Junichi Yamakawa’s oneshot manga Kuso Miso Technique debuted in 1987 in Daini Shobo’s Barazoku magazine. This manga gained popularity more than a decade later in the 2000s after the iconic phrase in the manga, “Yaranaika?” meaning “Do you want to do it?” has spread as a meme on the internet. Phrase said by Takakazu when he interacted with Masaki. Masaki, who was attracted to Takakazu, accepted Takakazu’s proposal and they continued having sex in a nearby restroom.
The Shin Yaranai ka anime adaptation was originally launched as a crowdfunding effort in April 2023 through an unofficial trailer made by Maki Ito, the current director of Shin Yaranai ka ( who are voiced by Yoshiro Sasaki and Pierre Ito), can be seen below:

Cram school student Masaki Michishita was running at full speed towards the restroom in the park when his eyes caught sight of the attractive Takakazu Abe sitting on a bench. Their eyes met. Abe called Michishita “Shall we do it?” and invited him to the bathroom. Unable to resist a hottie, Michishita is willing to tag along…and so their big adventure begins!
