Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 spoilers reveal that the chapter has a title “The Decisive Battle of Shinjuku Part 16.” This chapter brings the focus back to Sukuna’s fight against the jujutsu sorcerers.
This entire chapter is used as a prelude to the real fight between Sukuna and the tag team of Yuji and Higuruma. In this chapter, the jujutsu witches are seen planning on how to handle Kenjaku and Sukuna in a flashback. During the meeting, it was decided that Yuta would take care of Kenjaku after diverting the attention of the user of the ancient curse. After killing Kenjaku, Yuta must return to Shinjuku immediately. But this scenario will only apply if Gojo loses. Noritoshi Kamo was also present at the meeting and announced that he would not participate in the battle and would leave the country with his family. It is also revealed during the meeting that Miwa can no longer swing her sword after her Binding Oath in Shibuya. It was decided that Higuruma would oppose Sukuna after Kashimo. He and Yuji planned the crimes Sukuna would be charged with. Yuji reveals that every time Sukuna switched bodies, he committed countless crimes, including several murders and attempted murders. Back in the present, Mei Mei tries to use her crows against Sukuna but they are instantly destroyed. Then, Yuji and Higuruma finally join the fight. Higuruma uses his giant hammer to break Sukuna’s stance and then binds his weapon with a cloth as Yuji delivers a powerful blow to Sukuna.
