Trailer reveals March 6 launch on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC
Konami released a trailer on Tuesday during its Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase livestream for Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, the HD remastered releases of Konami's classic role-playing games Suikoden and Suikoden II, and revealed the game's March 6 release date. Konami streamed a longer trailer on its own YouTube channel, which listed the game as coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

The release has been delayed from 2023. Konami cited the need to “ensure the quality of performance and gameplay experience our users deserve.”

Konami describes the first Suikoden game:

The remastered release will include new environment textures, new HD character illustrations, updated effects, all-new environmental sounds, remastered combat sound effects, an auto-save feature, a fast-forward option for battles, and a dialogue log.
Konami released the original game for the PlayStation in 1995, followed by a sequel in 1998. The series has five main games and five spin-offs.
