Kyoto Animation is teasing a mysterious announcement on September 21, with more details to be revealed at 21:00 JST that Saturday. The studio is known for its beautiful animation, with their latest project being Sound! season 3! Euphonium, which ended on June 30. No details about the new announcement have been revealed, other than the image below.

An anime adaptation was also announced for 20 episodes of Seiki Denki Mokuroku in 2024. In 2018, although its status remains undetermined following the arson attack on the studio in July 2019. This July, a special monument dedicated to the victims of the attack was unveiled at the Green Tea Historical Park and Uji Town.
After the tragedy, Kyoto Animation overcame the difficult circumstances and their first major film, the Violet Evergarden film, successfully started in July 2020.
They released the Free! The Last Shot movie in 2 parts; Part 1 in September 2021 and Part 2 in April 2022. The first TV anime season compilation of Tsurune was released in August 2022 under the name Tsurune: The Movie – The First Shot, which includes some newly added scenes.
The studio's first television anime project after the attack was Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, which ended almost exactly 3 years before the upcoming announcement, on September 23, 2021. In between Dragon Maid and Sound! Euphonium, the studio also released Tsurune: The Linking Shot. This television anime is a sequel to the first season/movie and aired from January to March 2023.
KyoAni was founded in 1985 by Hideaki and Yoko Hatta, who still serve as president and vice president. Since then, the company has become famous for animating many popular series. Aside from the works mentioned above, some of their famous works include The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Clannad, K-On!, Nichijou, Hyouka, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, and A Silent Voice.
