Bye, Bye Earth Season 2 will premiere in 2025, it was announced today along with a short promotional video. The LIDEN FILMS studio animated the first season of the adaptation, which ended today after 10 episodes.

Yasuto Nishikata directed the anime with Sota Yokote serving as assistant director. Hiroyuki Yoshino wrote the series and Yuki Hino designed the characters. Kevin Penkin composed the music. The cast includes:

The Bye, Bye Earth anime is based on the 2000 novel of the same name written by Tow Ubukata and illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. Originally published by Kadokawa, the novel received a new edition under their Kadokawa Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Hyung-Tae Kim, in 2007. A manga adaptation by Ryu Asahi ran from 2020 to 2022 in Young King OURs magazine.
The Bye, Bye Earth is a co-production between Crunchyroll, WOWOW, and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as follows:
In the world of anthropomorphic animals, Belle Lablac was born as the only human.
