Crunchyroll added the anime to its catalog starting in 2021 and describes the anime:
Keroro is Sergeant Frog-leader of a platoon of warriors sent to conquer planet Earth. But when the landing invaders discovered how much the humans enjoyed dissecting their comrades, the army dispersed, the mission was aborted, and Keroro was abandoned. Now this once proud soldier spends more time using a vacuum cleaner than a weapon of war. It was a far cry from the glory of battle, but hey, at least he had his own room. And although the invasion may have slowed down a bit, Sergeant Frog still occasionally yearns to overcome his karaoke addiction and rally his troops.
Sunrise's anime series is based on Sgt. Manga Frog (Keroro Gunsō) ran from 2004 to 2011 and has produced five feature films. Funimation released two “seasons” of the anime on DVD, after ADV Films licensed but did not release the anime.
Discotek licensed the anime and the release of Sgt. Frog includes all 358 episodes in consecutive seasonal SD Blu-ray disc releases, starting in 2021, with seasons 5-7 releasing later this year.
American manga publisher Tokyopop released 20 original manga volumes in North America before closing in 2011.
