The production team of the upcoming television anime series Ragna Crimson has revealed the addition of 10 new supporting voice actors and characters to the show. These new characters are members of the “Tsubasa no Ketsuzoku” group in the story.
The anime will premiere on October 1, 2023 with the first episode being 1 hour long and will last a total of two episodes with 24 episodes.
Newly announced cast members include Reina Ueda as Ultimatia, Daiki Yamashita as Nebulim, Ryouta Takeuchi as Taratectora, Ryoutarou Okiayu as Olto Zora, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Borgius, Keisuke Koumoto as Dornea, Takuya Satou as Baron Sierra, Kouzou Shioya as Temruogtaf, >Takehito Koyasu as Grymwelte and Takuya Eguchi as Chantioras.
They join the main cast including Chiaki Kobayashi as Ragna, Ayumu Murase as Crimson, Inori Minase as Leonica, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Disas Trois, Kouzou Shioya as Temruogtaf, Yoshihito Sasaki as Michael, Takashi Matsuyama as King Femud and Nobutoshi Canna as the future Ragna.
The production team includes Ken Takahashi (Assistant Director of Fate/kaleidliner PRISMA ILYA Licht Nameless Girl) as director, Shinpei Aoki (accessory designer for The Dungeon of Black Company) as character designer and Deko Akao (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) as series writer and scriptwriter. SILVER LINK is handling the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on Daiki Kobayashi’s dark fantasy manga, which began serialization in Square Enix’s monthly Gangan Joker magazine in 2017. Twelve tankoubon volumes have been released as of June 2023.

Dragons reigned terror over the earth, sea and sky. If sworn dragon hunters like Ragna have any hope of destroying these seemingly invincible, fire-breathing beasts, they must find a way to even the odds. Ragna teams up with a mysterious man named Crimson, who has also sworn to fight the dragons that threaten the world. But though Crimson’s motives may be mysterious, his and Ragna’s goals are perfectly aligned, and together they will fight to destroy the dragons once and for all.
