Ffilm opens in Hong Kong on the same day it opens in Japan

On Monday, Hong Kong film distributor Neofilms announced that it will release Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan) the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary), a 2D animated film The 31st installment in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, will open in Hong Kong on August 9, the same day it opens in Japan.
The film will tell the story of the friendship between Nobara's family's pet dog, Hiro, and a “little dinosaur”. Their connection helps the growth of Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Team.
Shinobu Sasaki (director of many Duel Masters anime including the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Duel Masters television anime) will direct the film. Moral, who wrote the script for the television series Crayon Shin-chan, wrote the script.
Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan The Movie, the first 3D CG animated film of the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, opens in August 2023. The film is the highest-earning anime film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise.
Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden, the 30th 2D animated film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, opens in Japan in April 2022.
