A manga adaptation by Chikage Nakagura began serialization on Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website on July 24, 2020, with seven tankobon volumes released as of April 2024.
Comico's Pocket Comics website is releasing the manga in English digitally, with the main synopsis described as follows:
With her flowing red hair and shabby clothes, Marie, the daughter of a baron, has been treated as a servant all her life. Count Granado, the richest man in the country, who is said to be a difficult person, falls in love with her at first sight. However, due to a misunderstanding, Count Granado proposes to his sister Anastasia, who looks like a princess, instead of the ragged Marie. A very famous work from “Becoming a Novelist”! Marie’s Cinderella story begins with a hero’s misunderstanding!
