Loner Life in Another World Volume 2 Review
Our hero, who certainly doesn't want any of his classmates to know about his whereabouts, still goes after the delinquents. There, he discovered the group was just talking about girls. After deciding once again that he doesn't want anything to do with anyone else, Haruka goes his own way, but fate has something completely new in store for him. He comes across another group, but this time, they are better than the delinquents. That was the group of otaku that Haruka often talked to.
From them, we and Haruka learned the full situation of all the students and their predicament. They start off quite effectively, with the otaku helping the class with their extensive knowledge of the Isekai world. The class president also takes on the position of class president and assigns rules to everyone. But problems start when a troublesome group, specifically a mean girl group and a group of thugs, start causing a ruckus and refuse to share their work. In a situation where some classmates are really in trouble, will our hero be willing to help them?
I'll be honest, the last episode was much better than this one because it effectively showed how a hero doesn't need anyone else to function. And, it's something they've shown quite nicely, but now that Haruka starts interacting with her classmates, the whole thing becomes like another Isekai story. By the end of this episode, you can even see a harem being formed, which is not a bad thing at all, but I think it would have been better if it was done a little later after our hero had assert yourself properly.
But it's still too early to say anything, so it's better to continue watching this series and analyze it later with more episodes.
Review
I'm pretty neutral about this episode, but I feel like the first episode was much better than this one. Hopefully we won't see a complete change of his original ideology and see him turn into a normal harem protagonist. But other than that, this episode has a lot going on and is entertaining enough.
