Warner Bros. Japan revealed new visuals and casting on Friday for Joker and Harley Quinn in Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, the company's new Batman Ninja CG animated film. Wataru Takagi and Rie Kugimiya will reprise their roles in Batman Ninja as the Joker and Harley Quinn, respectively.

The inscriptions on the Joker's jacket above, in addition to stating his name, also roughly translate as “tribe of demons laughing at violence” and “clown of evil, crazy and meaningless”.
The anime will be part of the “Bats in Translation” panel at New York Comic-Con on October 17 at 3 p.m. EDT.

The anime will feature:
Junpei Mizusaki, producer of the opening animation sequences for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and Kamikaze Douga CEO/founder, will return from Batman Ninja to direct the film alongside Shinji Takagi (single director). taste for Blood: The Last Vampire). Kamikaze Douga again served as animator for the film. Returning staff members also include scriptwriter Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, and composer Yūgo Kanno.
Warner Bros. released the animated film Batman Ninja digitally in April 2018 and on home video in May 2018. includes Japanese audio as well as an English dub. The anime debuted in Japanese theaters in June 2018 with a Japanese voice cast. It aired on Toonami in October 2021.
In Batman Ninja, Batman travels back to Japan's Warring States period and defeats villains like The Joker, who have become feudal lords.
Masato Hisa (Nobunagun, Area 51) launched an anime manga adaptation in Monthly Hero magazine in June 2018 and ended it in September 2019. The manga won the Seiun Award in August 2019. 2020.
The anime also won the Seiun Award for Inspiring a Stage Play in November 2021.
